hi guys.
man, i was in a bad withdraw this past week. unable to check out the
website for 5 days! but, it was great to talk to ya jen. i look forward
to a visit SOON! i tell ya, our Father is showing me many things now as
well. He positively works in and through all things. He is teaching me
how to listen...familiar? to listen,seriously listen and to talk to Him
immediately as things come...to tell Him immediately how I feel..to give
Him all things immediately. it amazes me how little i truly do this. may
you be blessed with ears to hear and listen and eyes to see. i love you
guys and miss you

Hey Tom,
Jennifer, Eli and Big Ben! Just wanted to tell you that even though you
physically weren't at the pancake breakfast this morning(by the way, the
food/atmosphere was fantastic!) In the spiritual sense, your presence
was palpable, and it felt like you guys were with me at the table. I
hear Ben's counts are up to normal - that's great news. You have to take
every victory as it comes, one step at a time. Tom, I had the great
pleasure of meeting your mother, and Jennifer, I also had the pleasure
of meeting your sister. She looks just like you. Anyway, just wanted to
send out a message to you, and remind you that we love you guys, and
that the prayer train is travelling full steam ahead. Peace and Grace.

You know
how they say "once you learn to ride a bike, you will always know how"?
~ well, I have not waitressed since college and the skills all came back
to me at Applebee's this morning. What a wonderful time we had

We shared
the 'believe in God....or.....believe God ' story with our rector....who
will be sharing it in his newsletter message and with rectors from other
local churches...... just another part of the incredible and beautiful
cloth that Ben's story is weaving. Sorry to hear that Ben has had a
couple of difficult days....but we will continue to keep our prayers on
God and not the problem. Praying for you both, for hope and strength.

Jennifer,
I have been following Ben's story over the last couple of months, mostly
through Mel's e-mail updates, and think of you and your family often. My
church has been keeping Ben in our prayers over the last few weeks and
today I shared with my pastor some of the pictures that I printed off
the web site. He decided to share them with the whole congregation this
morning in order to help make it more real. He talked about the fact
that we are often asked to pray for people we don't know and it can seem
so abstract. He wanted to share the pictures to help the congregation
see and know this family they are praying for. His prayer on behalf of
the congregation asked for healing and wholeness for Ben and all of you
at a time when the possibility of brokeness threatens. I hope the
thoughts and prayers of all those who know you, and many who don't, will
continue provide encouragement and support.
