Ben, you are much too young to realize how much your story is touching
the lives of thousands. Many people (like us) who spend so much of our
time on the unimportant things in life are now coming together with
others around the world to focus our prayers and efforts on helping you
to fulfill your purpose in God's plan. Through you, we are, as your
Daddy and Mommy say, believing God that your life is being used for
good. In the Bible, it says that a "child shall lead them;" we are
blessed to have you lead us closer to Christ through your courageous,

worth it. Your son is beautiful and lucky to have such dedicated

Sounds
like quaility play time at home for the Bowens. Not a bad thing. Low key
playing at home has always been one of my most treasured times with my
kids. How are the activies holding up? Need something different to do

Jen, so
nice to talk to you at length yesterday...it was ALMOST like old times.
I do miss you tremendously! But I do have to say that my walk with the
Lord is definitely not what it was 2 months ago when all of this started
and I have you all to thank for that. I am trying to always remember
what's "big" and what's "trivial". Little "Big" Ben is "big" and Erica
not talking yet is "trivial". Right?? Reassure me wise one. Believing
God...protect Little "big" Ben from infection, ease his pain, allow
Elijah to feel loved and attended to, give Tom and Jennifer patience to
deal with Eli's 3-year-old behavior and new challenges he places on them
daily (I know I've been there...and then there are 4-year old
challenges...but I'm not here to discourage but ENCOURAGE), protect Tom
and Jennifer's marriage and allow them to feel close (emotionally,
spiritually and physically). They have made wonderful decisions lately-
even prior to all of this- to strive to put God first and family a close
second- reward them Lord for the

i read
your story in the newspaper yesterday and it truly touched my
heart.tom,i remember you from high school. i believe we walked across
the field together for homecoming 1988.your family will be in my heart
and my prayers.i know you have a ton of support but if i can be of any

amazing as a parent what I have learned from my children, who would have
thought the young could teach us so much so early on in their lives.
Your Ben sounds so brave and remarkable at such a young age, again
teaching us as parents to stand up and take notice. Ben and family will

I just
wanted you to know I am praying for Ben and the whole family. My
daughter Catie (19 months) has medulloblastoma. We discovered her tumor
on her 1st birthday and she has been fighting hard ever since. We pray
that Ben will avoid infection as his counts drop and that he will
respond to the chemotherapy with very few side effects. God hears our
prayers and I know His might healing hands are folded around your family

It's
truly wonderful to gather all this info here on the website. Jerry and I
both feel we know you all so well. You wrote about Ben smiling at you,
despite his pain. It made me think of UNCONDITIONAL love. Our babies
love us unconditionally and nothing could make us love them less.
