Jennifer, You are in our daily prayers and thoughts. My husband and I
went to Huntington East, and new Tom there. We attended your church
Easter Sunday with my mother who still lives in Huntington and is a
member there. It was a blessing to hear positive updates on Ben's

recollections of your family was that you definitely BELIEVE God for

and Jennifer I think and pray often for you and your sweet Ben. Please
know how much you are missed. It amazes me when I think of what God has
called you to do. I really enjoyed the website and it is very comforting
to know that we can keep in some kind of contact and help in whatever
ways we can. I hope you are getting more sleep and enjoying some

My heart
is aching for you...I can only imagine the ache that you yourselves are
feeling right now. Know that we are with you in thought and prayer. We
are lifting you up hourly if not more. I hope that in some way, the Lord
is allowing me to feel some of your pain as a way to lighten yours a
little... Praying for the Lord to send Ben an angel that he can SEE.

opened this letter from the Bowens. Please forward if you don't mind. I
read they asked why, but got no answer. I did the same thing when I
found out Mikey had left temperal lobe epilepsy. I know it is not the
same or as bad as little Ben, but he still was my son. I took tim to
Morgantown university hosp. almost every week. He had seizures everyday,
took 3 different anti-convulsion meds at one time totaling 21 pills
daily for the little boy. At different times, on my knees I would ask
the good Lord why my baby had to hurt and go through such pain. He was
so miserable most of the time. Nothing they gave him seemed to work.
Then one day I heard a voice so clear that it made you want to look
around to see who was talking to you. I heard Him say that He had a
special little boy in heaven and was looking down on earth to find just
the right home to put him in. One that would love and take care of him
and not abuse him or neglect him. One that would love him as He had
loved His own son. He looked far and wide then looke

looked far and wide then looked at me. He said He knew He could trust me
with His special little boy. That He placed a great responsiblity on me
to care for him, but that I could do it. My heart leaped for joy that
the God of the universe would trust ME! to take good care of His special
child! That out of everyone else, He picked me. I felt so humbled and
thankful. that was nearly 30 years ago, but still fresh in my mind.
There were good days and bad ones, there were days all I could do was
fall to my knees and pray with all that was in me, but never again did I
have to ask why. I still thank God that He trusted me. He is truly my
best friend. I will keep little Ben in my prayers, and no matter what
happens, we must know that God is truly in complete control of all
things. I believe in total and complete healing and that is what I am
praying for the special little boy. My heart goes out to you all so hang

people in our community, as you probably know, and I even had an
opportunity to share your story with some family, who are not believers.
I explained the amazing trust in God you have shown through this

Jennifer, I have not stopped thinking of your family since I saw your
story on WSAZ. I pray for little Ben everyday. Our chuch (Teays Valley
Missionary Baptist) has requested prayer for Ben. I check for updates at
least twice a day, I pray that things are going well, I've been worried
since there hasn't been any updates since Friday. We have a son who is
16 months old and I can't image the pain you go through everyday. I only
pray that GOD heals little Ben, and lets him live a long happy life. I
hope Eli is doing better with his allergies. Stay strong. WITH GOD ALL
THINGS ARE POSSIBLE...

Hey guys
just wanted to leave you a note of encouragement. It's Monday morning, a
new start at a new week. Praise God that the chemo went well friday. We
are taking some of our youth group on thursday to a christian music
festival in Wilmore, KY. It's thursday evening, all day friday and all
day saturday. Hundreds of christian bands will be playing like Third
Day, Chris Tomlin, Switchfoot. And thousands of youth will be praising
the name of our God! It's an awesome experience. I am going to try to
put out the word of Ben there so we can get even more people praying and
encouraging you. I don't know if you see it yet, but God is using Ben to
do His Good, Pleasing and Perfect will. We love you guys and are praying

REALLY AMAZED HOW WELL TAYLOR DID AT FIRST. HER HAIR REALLY STARTED

BECKLEY AFTER 2AM AND WE WERE TIRED. I DECIDED TO STAY UNTIL TODAY AND

SEE JOHN AND TAYLOR. THIS LAST WEEK SHE HAS BEEN MORE LIKE THE OLD

do not know but but I have heard your story from numerous friends that
do know you. My first was an e-mail from a friend at church who heard
from a friend. Then I read your story at my hairdresser's. Now a
co-worker was talking about you. God works in wonderful ways and brings
us all together even when we haven't met face to face. I want you to
