Jen, it is 4:00 and I am strongly thinking about you... Dear Heavenly
Father we praise you for you are good and holy. Father, wrap your loving
arms tightly around Tom, Jennifer, Eli and Ben today. Father, I ask that
you Father Tom today...help him realize that he doesn't always have to
"strong"...help him turn to you for comfort. When he is weak, then he is
strong. Remind him that YOU are Ben's HEAVENLY FATHER and his Father as
well. Remind him that You love little Ben even more than he does. Dear
Lord, I ask that you give Jennifer a peace that surpasses all
understanding. I cannot imagine what she is going through...not many
can...but you know her pain. Supernaturally ease some of her
pain...PROTECT her dear Lord and comfort her. You are her one true and

Jennifer...I have thought and prayed for all of you so much over the
past two days. You have been weighing heavy on my heart! I pray that God
will wrap his loving arms around all 4 of you and give you healing,
peace of heart and mind, rest, a clear mind to make the decisions that
are ahead of you, understanding of the details, understanding and
patience with one another and with the process and those involved in the
process, a desire to seek God's will even in the smallest of details, a

Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday dear Eli. Happy
Birthday to you!!!! I know you would was to be home on your Birthday.
For Ben to be home and well. I wish you all those things as well.
Hopefully next year at this time you all will be in Huntington
celebrating another Big Birthday. I hope you and your family found the
birthday boxes I sent to be all you would have wanted in a party. I
really had a good time getting the stuff for you. I feel like I was
there. I am glad Ben is healing well enough for treatment early. On the
other hand by heart is breaking. My Dad had cancer and I was with him
for his treatments. Sadly enough as you know just because the treatment
is over doesn’t mean they feel well. A lot of side effects. But… I would
take every side effect to be able to leave there with Ben and come back
to Huntington and resume your life. I pray for you all daily multiple
times a day. Ben comes to my mind more often then I can mention. He is

We are
spending the week in New York visiting our son Matthew. Went to Ground
Zero today and our thoughts immediately went to The Bowen Family. We
stopped and had a special prayer for each of you, that God would

everyone for praying - today was very challenging for Ben, yet he was
given extra grace and strength for the moment. God is good. Chemo begins
Friday afternoon... we know it will be tough - but equally we know that
