I just
heard from my sister about Ben's situation. It breaks my heart to hear
it. You are very strong people and will get through this. I just wanted
to let you know that my family and I are thinking about you and we will
be praying for you all. If there is anything we can do to help, please

I am
really missing you guys and praying for you (even in my dreams--perhaps
it was 3:30 but my body just wouldn't wake up!). I will call you
tonight. It should be an easy night (even though Eric has to work)
because Papa Johns is fixing our dinner. Ha. Eli's birthday is only 2
days away...I will FedEx you that Birthday Potato Head that I found and
he should have it on Thursday for his B-day. Be on the lookout for it.
Erica loved her puppets and telephone (Collin too) and Collin especially
loved the Helicopter. He actually cried after he broke one of the
propellers off. We are still trying to repair that. It was a FAVORITE

Tom,
Jennifer, Eli, and Ben: I have met Tom and Eli a few times before at the
Northwestern Office in Huntington where I work. Tom's brother was once
our Federal Express delivery person and we always seemed to keep in
touch with their lives through him. Your story and struggles have
touched me in ways I can not explain. I have a 2 year old son and I do
not know if I could be as strong and faithful as you are. My heart aches
for the suffering little Ben is going through. The support circle that
has formed and touched everyone is no surprise because of the way you
have touched the lives of so many others. The faith that you have in God
should be a testament for everyone who knows him and those who may not.
God does have a plan for all of us and as difficult as it may be to
understand why things happen we must believe that all is his will. I
continue to pray for each of you and that God will lay his healing hand

jennifer, i was in campus life at huntington east and angel archer blake
told me about this website and wanted you to know how often you are in
my mind during this difficult time. i only hope and pray that you all

asked by another preschool mom where my daughter goes to help w/ a
fundraiser for Ben at River Cities Church in April. I agreed to

I work at
Wabash Valley Youth for Christ. Tom spoke at our annual banquet last
fall and I was so touched by his ministry. When I heard about Benjamin,
