family. Tom, I remember the first time I met you. You were 14 yrs old. I
took you to Radio Shak to find audio cable for a Beverly Hills Jr. High
School program at the ampithet theater in Ritter Park. I knew that day
that you were an exceptional young man. As I listend to your testimony
at RCCC recently about Ben and your and Jennifer's desire to depend and
follow God's will for your family, I knew I was right about you all
those years ago. Your love for God is so inspiring to us. Jennifer, as a
mother & grandmother,my heart goes out to you. May God comfort you both

Bowens, Thank you for being vessels for God to work through. Many eyes
are on your situation and countless prayers are being lifted up for you
constantly. There is no doubt that God has drawn massive attention to
your story and it seems like the ideal situation for Him to draw
attention to Himself (and His great ways) in the process. What a
wonderful opportunity for Him to show off a little!!! He has placed you
on display so the whole world can see what happens when He touches a
life. He has found you strong enough (and trustworthy enough) to
represent Him in a time where most people trust in very little. You have
been found faithful, by the God of the Universe, and all eyes are on Him

First of
all- My heart goes to you all!!! God saved our baby son, Luke, from a
brain tumor 3 years ago-April 2001. I read your letter and I agree w/
you 1000%. Our job as believers is to BELIEVE. Isaiah 49:25," I will
contend w/ those who contend w/ you and I will save your children, thus
saith the Lord. God showed me that promise at 3:00 in the morning before
the main surgery to remove the tumor. Luke had 4 brain surgeries and the
discovery was very similar to yours. We were at Egleston Children's
Hospital for a month. God has taught me many things about his Word- OUR
COVENANT- since we have been home- things that have radically changed
our lives. I am here to share them all w/ you if you want. Please e-mail
me and I'll give you my number or give me yours- I Will gladly pay for
the call. One truth that has changed my life is in Matt. 17 and Mark
9:21-24. That daddy cried out to Jesus-"I believe you-Help my Unbelief."
I never even thought to ask Jesus to help that-oh but when I started- He

Hi Folks!
God is good and he is constant, never changing. I too have a Ben, he is
graduating this May. It is a sweet solid name, isn't it? I hope that I
may be able to help you in the next year. Our church has a small clothes
closet which I am in charge of, if you need clothes for your boys let me
know sizes and I will keep a look out. Also, I am originally from
southern Indiana (Corydon, New Albany area) and make frequent trips back
that way. Cinncinnati is only @100 miles farther up the road. I would be
glad to transport people or things for you. My family (Indiana family,
that is) is coming down May 25 for my Ben's graduation and would be able
to bring down some "left behinds" if you want. We attend church on
Goodman and Malone (just across the state line in Mississippi) Grace
Bible Church. I live 30 miles south in Coldwater. If you ever want to
walk in the country and just breathe, you are more than welcome in our
home. I will pray for your family and your Ben. Please use me. I don't
