Dear
Bowens, I was so glad to hear that you are able to go home for a quick
visit and reunion with family and church family. What a joy!! Jeff and I
have been so touched by your web page--encouragements to pray for
Alethea and other precious little ones. We are so blessed to have met
faithful "believers" like you. Have a wonderful trip. We will pray for
Ben's health and endurance (along with yours and Tom's). Home is soooo
wonderful, yet I'm sure nothing feels like "home" or normal as long as
you are continuing to battle cancer. We are praying "manna" for each day

My friend
Kathy forwarded me an email that her daughter Emily Kaiden had sent out.
She was in Memphis with "Up Til Dawn" conference and was so moved by
Ben, that she shared him with her mom, who shared with me. I have read
your website and have shared it with my family, we are all praying for

BIG BEN,
the picture of you and your mom is priceless!!!! When i look in your
eyes I see the joy,love and happiness you have for her. It is the look I
often see in my grandchild for her "Nana" (grandma).I believe it is our

I am so
excited that your family is coming home for a few days! You are so
generous to share the brief time you have with those who love you. I
look forward to seeing you. God is so kind to make His activity in Ben's
life so obvious. Witnessing this and praying for you are honors. Tom- I
am asking that you would be strengthened, rested, sensitive to your
family's needs, comforted, and so enamored of Jennifer's character that
you fall in love with her all over again. Jennifer- I am asking that He
would carry you, strengthen you, overwhelm you with His love for you and

checking in on Ben....I'm so glad you all get to come
home!..YEA!....What a brave boy you are Ben!...Eli what a brave big
brother you are taking care of Ben!....
I had full intentions of coming by and saying hi on Sunday but my boys
nurse called off. I'm not sure how long you will be in the area as I'm
only about 20-25 minutes from where you will be Sunday...I would like to
donate some money for Karleys family plus I'd like to give your boys a
little something special to take back with them....
Just email me if this is possible......If not I understand but and will
just make sure it gets to the boys when you return....
My prayers remain with Ben and your entire family...I've added your page

family. I learned of you through Karleys' website. I never knew Karley
but was related to the Blouin family through marriage but am no longer
since my divorce. I was so impressed by Ben's website. What an amazing
little boy! How lucky Ben is to have such a wonderful brother such as
Eli and such loving and devoted parents. It's easy to see that you are
all very special people and may God give you the strength to help you

I met ben
and his father at The FedEx St. Jude Classic golf tournament and seeing
Ben and reading his story is such and inspiration, that a few friends
and I have been going up to St. Jude to visit with some of the kids
there with the hope to share with them a little of our hope that we have

The party
at the farm sounds like great fun! We will look forward to the posted

comment from the oncology nurse was wonderful. She has the perspective
of experience, and yes, it is additional evidence of God working in Ben.

I first
heard about your story a few weeks ago from my aunt, Connie Watts, who
is a member of your church.(I think). Then last week as I was walking
into my sisters resturant, WG Grinders, I read the letter that was
posted on the door. As I was talking to my sister, Carrie Webb, about
the benefit for Ben on Sunday she told me about the web site you had,
which brings me to this. Several weeks ago as I was headed to work, I
heard a song on the radio about a very sick boy and I just sobbed at the
pain that he and these parents must be feeling as I have two small boys
myself. Then when I went to Ben's song I realized this was the same
song. I held my boys in my arms and I prayed for them and I prayed for
you. I just pray to the Lord up above that he gives you the strength and
the courage to face what is ahead of you and I pray that he gives Ben
the strength for what he is about to endure. It seems you have such a
strong faith in Jesus Christ at such an uncertain time, but I know that
it will carry you through. My family is pray
