Tom,Ben and family, It was such a blessing to meet you at the Target
house on Monday. Reading the update where you had mentioned the Up 'til
Dawn students was so moving. Many of my students were so taken by Ben.
This website is incredible. What a special little boy, and a beautiful
family to support him. Well,like we spoke about, I am a fundraiser for
ALSAC and I cover the southern part of KY and all of WV. I am very
excited to have made contact with your family. I look forward to
following Ben on his journey and I will be sure to let you know about
any and ALL events that I hold in the Huntington or Charleston area. For
example, the city of Teays Vally held a Captured for Kids event on May
5th raising over $11,000!! We currently have radiothons as you know on
WTCR and WQBE each year in February or March, however there are new
things in the works. I hated to hear your news from yesterday and will
keep Karly and her family in my prayers. Hope to hear from you soon.

the Sartins/Carriers Sunday school class and have been praying. I will
definately pray for Karley's family, too. I have known loss but not this

I've been
following Ben's story after hearing from Karley's Gramma, Cindy Goddard,
about what a wonderful support you have been to their family. You are
all such a blessing and proof of how good things come from bad
experiences. God is SO great! We know that Karley is with our heavenly

Now I
know why I work as a fundraiser for St. Jude.......This past Monday I
was part of the group with Up till Dawn that joined you at the Target
House. As a new employee of St. Jude, this was my first time to the
house, and my thoughts and prayers have been with Ben ever since meeting
your family in the living room! Ben was an inspiration to appreciate
life and everything it throws your way. I pray that Ben continues to be
strong, and that God gives you the strength to help Ben through these
challenging times. The smile on his face, and the glimmer in his eye,
brought a tear to my own eyes. What a courageous and wonderful child. I

Bowen family- I was blessed to have met you all a couple days ago while
visiting the Target house for the Up 'til Dawn seminar. (I wore the "I
love St. Jude" tshirt) I was so touched by Ben, his story and your
family- and by the looks of this guestbook, I wasn't the only one. Your
family has been in my thoughts and prayers since I met you and will
continue to be. While in Memphis, I found myself repeatedly wondering
how to bring my visit to St. Jude back to Minnesota for others to
experience. After meeting your family and looking at this website, I
have your amazing story to share- and I know it will touch and inspire
others as much as it touched and inspired me. The strength and faith of
your family, and the strength and courage of Ben are truly amazing.

i am so
glad that ben is going home for a visit and that you all will beable to

Bowen family! I am experiencing very mixed emotions -joy and sadness at
the same time. Joy for all of you to be able to come home for a visit -
Pain for Karley's family. I can't imagine what all of you are going
