Just a
note to say that I checked out the Kathie Lee website and I sooo hope
that your wish comes true. :-) We had Sara take Collin and Erica's
pictures today and all I can say is I bet Sara was glad when we left. I
hope there are at least a few good pictures. Your surprise is arranged
for sometime on May 11th. So hang around till you get it. Trust me that
it's not something that you want to miss. Wish I could be there to enjoy

I wanted
to share something I read in my devotional that reminds me of you... 2
Corinnthians 2:14-16 The Message "In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads

We will
just have to take what we can get. No Chemo BUT the stiches are gone.
That has to be some major relief. And that the swelling has allowed him
to heal for them to be taken out. That is great!! Weird diets are part
of growing. My kids still have days like that. Some of it is the age I
think. I remember when Jen was pregnant with Ben. She ate weird stuff.
:) Loved choclate ice cream. Eli and Daddy like comic books. How cool.
Comic books can be so neat. A good Daddy and Eli adventure. Bens mood
just suites him. Warriors are strong and protects. He protects you all
with his courage, love and smiles. What a kid. Both boys are one of a
kind. Hope Mommy and Daddy are resting for the day to day trials. I
continue to pray for you all. Still hanging with you in prayer. Have a

I will
pray that they can get withdraw enough spinal fluid the next time they
attempt the same procedure. There are new obstacles daily, huh? Still
praying that God work in us all. Lord, help us to desire only you...take
us to that place where the earth holds NOTHING that we desire. Help us
to place our will in yours. May we only seek Your Will--no matter what
that is. We so desire for Ben to be healed, completely healed. We desire
for him to come out of this the same little Ben with a terrific story to
tell. A story that will further glorify you , Lord. We give you all the

Ben: Just finished reading the latest update on your treatment and how
you're getting along. We're praying that you'll be able to get your next
chemo treatment via spinal tap real soon, but know it must feel good
without those "stitches" in you. Since your name is listed on little
Taylor's web site, we always check out your site too. Boy, do you have
some great pictures......especially the "enlarged one" of you with that
cookie!! Know you're happy to have Eli there with you....you're lucky to
have such a special brother. Tell Mommy and Daddy that we pray in the

Hey Tom,
Jen and the boys.... Just wanted to give you a little "encouragement of
the day". Ben's story reminds me, strangely enough, of the movie, "The
Ten Commandments", when Charlton Heston(Moses) stands beside the Red
Sea, his people close to destruction at the hands of the pharaoh, no
hope for survival, he spreads his arms and declares with authority,
"Fear not. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Who shall
withstand the power of God?". As you have said before, there is
something happening here bigger than we can conceive. Stay tuned and
"behold the salvation of the Lord!" Ben's story has only begun, and what
a story it is!

Bowens! After reading through a couple pages of the guestbook, I'm all
out of "original" things to say! I echo the sentiments that all have
already said .. . .my heart breaks for you all and yet is full of
excitement to think about how the Lord is going to show us His glory
through these times. Your pain may at times make you feel lonely and
discouraged, but always remember that the Lord told us, "Never will I
leave you or forsake you." NEVER! That's good news on any day! You've
probably heard it a thousand times today, but hear it again: I am
thinking of and praying for you with great love, wishing I was there to
somehow help and ease your burden. Also, remember that God doesn't give
us a bright floodlight to help us find our way on a dark path; rather
only a dim candle to help us find our way one step at a time. May God's

training meeting tonight out in Spring Valley to prepare for an
evangelical meeting at Spring Valley High School thursday night for

praying for your family and Ben. We are orchestrating a date and time
for the rummage sale at church! We will let you know when everything is
finalized. This evening, when my five year old was saying his prayers,
he asked God to bless Ben. He had seen me reading your website earlier
