want to let you know that I enjoyed helping take care of Ben in the
Procedure room yesterday at St.Jude. I am the student nurse from Union
University. Itold the rest of my classmates and my instructors about Ben
and your incredible family. I also told my family about Ben. You and

have the book written by Dr. R. F. Smith that we spoke about the other
day. It will arrive at your door in a few days. It is very encouraging
to hear how Big Ben is doing. (I am going to call him Big Ben because
there is nothing little about this warrior.) He has the heart of a lion,
and he, along with your family, has been such an inspiration to us all.
You guys are my heroes, and will continue to be the target of our

Dear
Tommy and Jennifer, You have been in my thoughts and prayers every day,
but especially today! I can't stop thinking about you. I've spent the
last hour reviewing the website, reading updates, and looking at your
pics. We serve an omnipotent, awesome, loving, merciful God and He loves
you and your family more than any of us could. Rest in Him. Jennifer -
the teachers at your old alma mater (Hite Saunders) ask about you
continually and want you to know that they are praying for you. The
morning of Ben's surgery, they all had a time of prayer for you in the
teacher's lounge. (I was at Cox Landing that day, but they told me about
it.) God is going to do great things. I'm praying for your physical
strength, for you to have rest, and for angels to surround you and
minister to your every need, and that you will feel the Father's
presence each moment of the day and night. I love you all very much.

DEAR TOM
AND JENNIFER, IT'S THURSDAY, APRIL 22ND. I JUST HAD TO SHARE A SPECIAL
STORY WITH YOU. MY HUSBAND WENT OUT TO VISIT HIS MOTHER'S COUSIN IN THE
AREA BACK OF BEECH FORK THIS MORNING. SHE IS ELDERLY, IN HER MIDDLE
80'S, AND HAS CANCER BUT IS DOING REASONABLY WELL. SHE ALLOWS MY HUSBAND
TO HUNT ON HER PROPERTY AND MY HUSBAND VISITS HER TO SEE HOW SHE IS
GETTING ALONG. HE WAS SHARING BEN'S STORY WITH HER. BEFORE HE LEFT THE
FARM HOUSE, SHE SAID WAIT A MINUTE AND CAME BACK A FEW MINUTES LATER
WITH THREE $1.00 BILLS IN HER HAND. SHE SAID THIS IS FOR BEN'S FAMILY.
WE'LL SEE THAT BEN'S FAMILY RECEIVES IT. HOW SPECIAL IS THAT? GOD IS
AWESOME. SO THANKFUL THE TREATMENTS ARE GOING AS WELL AS THEY ARE. LOVE

I first
heard about Ben when Tonya, a friend of your family, requested prayer
for him at our mommy connection meeting, but I did have the chance to
hear Tom speak at my church (Fellowship Baptist),after he returned from
NY city post 911. I have 3 girls, 6,3, and 11 months. My heart goes out
to Benjamin and your family, but more importantly my prayers do also. I
think about Benjamin and your family often and will continue to pray for
