Just
wanted to let you know we pray for ALL of you daily and for significant
healing in Ben's life. My kids even remember to pray for you at meals
and bedtime. It's refreshing to see their trust and child-like faith in
such an awesome God. We will continue to pray. We think of your family
every day and pray especially for you and Jennifer to remain strong in
your relationship together, as you requested through this tough time.
I'll continue to get up-to-date info. on the web site for Ben (the
web-site is so helpful for daily prayer specifics too). (On a lighter
note, Torie just did the St. Jude's Math-a-thon and she is in first
grade. She raised $162.00 for her effort. She said, "Hey mom, I really
want to raise all I can because that is where little Ben is going to
be." She raised more money than most students in her school but it
pleased her most because, in her mind, it went to help Ben. That's all
that mattered to her. I just thought I'd share that with you. Hope
that's ok.)

My son
too is battling a rhabdoid brain tumor. He is 6 years old and his name
is Collin. We have been up against this thing for over a year now. the
only thing that has sustained me is faith. I pray for your family's
strength and complete recovery for Ben. I have also discovered a Web
Site called Rhabdoid Kids with many other parents. It helps to have them
there. You will find many other children there as well that are

Hi I am
Dakota's grandmother and we also have battle the same thing you have.
Dakota's is now 4 1/2 years old. So we understand your pain and are
praying for you and your family. I heard Tom on the radio a couple weeks
ago and just cried. It brought all the pain back, and to think someone
else in the Huntington area is dealing with the same thing. The Lord has
been wonderful to Dakota we count our blessing each day for him. So we

Dear
Bowens I met Jennifer when I co-treated a child with her at Circle of
Friends. Then I realized that we attend the same church. I am currently
a SLP student at Marshall, so Laura Thomas has been keeping me up to
date on the progress with little Ben. Since I learned of your trials, I
have not been able to get your family out of my mind. Please know that
my women’s Bible study, my home church in Beckley WV, my grandparent’s
church in Beckley, WV, along with my husband and myself are in constant
prayer for all of you, especially Ben. Trust that God will grant you
courage to face whatever trials that come. May you continue to grow in

I met Ben
and his family today while they stopped by my store in the Wolfchase
Galleria in Memphis. After a brief conversation with Ben's Dad, Ben
started to wave and shook my hand (he is an absolute beautiful child!!
My wife and I are expecting this September, and seeing the strength of
Ben just warmed my heart. I just want Ben and his family to know, that

I was a
teenager when I first met Tom and Jennifer through Youth for Christ
Ministries. Tom worked on 20th street in Huntington, with my Father,
Mike Eddy. I loved hanging out with Jennifer, she was fun and treated me
like a young adult and not just a kid. Now I have children of my own,
and My husband and I are both wracked with grief over little Ben. My
husband works with Virginia Conrad at CCEMS, she knows Tom and Jennifer
from the Fire Station. We are doing a pampered Chef fund raiser for them
right now.. I would give all that I have to take away the pain this New
little family of Tom and Jenn's is going through.. My two boys are 3 and
1 ... know that I am Standing in the Gap for you and your family.. you
are bathed in prayer... that our intercession is nothing compared to
what Christ is doing for us.. I pray for peace, mercy, and most of all,
miraculous healing.. but always, His will be done. But, even this feels
like ash in my mouth.. I love you all, and my heart remembers your love
